Meet Smita...
Consultant Gynaecologist BSc MBBS MRCOG
Miss Smita Sinha is a Consultant Gynaecologist with 15 years of experience working in Gynaecology.
Having grown up in Bristol, Smita studied Medicine at Imperial College London, graduating in 2005.
Her passion for Women’s healthcare began in medical school and after her foundation years, she applied successfully for specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London.
Her time in training was enriched by gaining experience working in busy Teaching hospitals and learning from many Gynaecologists who were experts in their sub-specialties.
After completing her training, Smita was appointed as a substantive Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2018 at Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
Whilst here she ran a specialist clinic in benign Vulval conditions, diagnosing and caring for patients with vulval skin conditions and concerns about vulval pain.
Throughout her career, Smita has gained experience caring for women during their perimenopause and menopausal time, including those with complex medical and surgical histories.
Her enthusiasm for Medical Education led her to hold several lead roles, looking after the training and pastoral needs of doctors in training. In 2020, during the upheaval of COVID, she was recognised at the hospital for her efforts in supporting her junior teams and was awarded Educational Supervisor of the Year.
Complimenting her surgical skills and awareness of patient safety, she has also completed advanced training in Facial Aesthetics with the British Aesthetics Academy and is fully insured for non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
Smita has also been appointed as a UK trainer for DermaFocus intimate procedures.
Having left the NHS due to personal reasons, Smita remained committed to Women's healthcare and founded Serenity Women's Clinic in 2022. Believing in the value of Pro-Aging, she will bring her experience to provide holistic and evidence based care, for the key concerns that women find themselves experiencing.

Meet Natasha...
Executive Personal Assistant
Natasha is an experienced medical PA having worked and undertaken training within the NHS for the last 10 years. The last 5 of these were spent as a senior medical secretary within Gynaecology. She has a great understanding of how women’s healthcare works and continuously strives to ensure each and every patient has a first class experience.
Natasha has lived in Taunton all her life so has good knowledge of the area. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, is a keen traveller and avid baker!
